What's this?

A weekly newsletter? Yes! We are going to give it a go. There is so much happening in our chapter that we want to try to keep you as up to date as possible. This is the first one, so it might run a bit long, but we hope you find it useful. Let us know what you think.

The Big News

​The big news this week is the Annual Awards Gala, presented by Guard-Systems.

Awards Nominations -- Awards nominations are now open! Nominate your fellow members for a 2023 CAI-GLAC Industry Excellence Award. More information

Come to the Gala! -- Buy your ticket or reserve a whole table on the website. The Awards Gala, presented by Guard-Systems, will be on March 2 at 5:00 PM at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles. More information

New Website

Our website is barely two months old. We love our little baby so much. I mentioned the Chapter News blog. You'll be able to find posts in there about how to use certain new features of the website. If you have a particular request, let us know and we'll add it.

Create a Login -- If you haven't logged in yet, click on "Member Login" on the top right of the website. On the login page, click on the "Create One" link to create your account. Use your work email and create a new password. (Your login credentials from the old site will not work.) It will match you up with your database record.

InfoHub -- Once you log in, you will be in the InfoHub. This is where you can find the member directories, edit your directory listings, pay your invoices for things you ordered through the website, and more.

But what about the printed Member Directory?

We have a new publisher! E&M Consulting will be producing the printed Member Directory and FOCUS Magazine. They will also be handling ad sales for both publications, so you might be hearing from them. Due to the transition, the January/February issue of FOCUS won't be sent until February.

Your Directory Listing -- We will be sending a more detailed communication about your directory listings. In the meantime, you can get a head start by logging in to the InfoHub and ensuring the your contact information and your directory listings are accurate. We will be using that database as the primary source of information.

Your Directory Ads -- Some of you already ordered, an possibly paid for, your 2024 directory ads. We will be sending over all that information to the new published. If you haven't ordered your ad yet, you can email us at memberservices@cai-glac.org to place your order until the new ad sales landing page is created.

We can only put so much in one newsletter, plus we want you to be able to unsubscribe (Why would you do that?!) from only the things you don't want to receive, so we are going to send out Upcoming Events and Sponsorship Updates as separate emails.
