The Big News
2024 Chapter Board of Director, March Luncheon, Speakers Workshop
The March 27 Educational Luncheon at the Skirball Cultural Center was our biggest luncheon yet! Thank you to all of the sponsors, exhibitors, and attendees who made this event a success.
The program kicked off with the induction ceremony for the 2024 CAI-GLAC Chapter Board of Directors. The main event was "Nailing It: HOA Project Management from Vision to Reality," with speakers Matt D. Ober, Esq., Karen Kokowicz, CCAM, CMCA, PCAM, and Rob Smith, MBA, CCAM-HR.
After the luncheon we held the inaugural Speakers Workshop. Kelly Zibell, CCAM, CMCA, AMS, member of the CAI Board of Trustees and the CAI BayCen Chapter Board of Directors, led the program with Sascha Macias, CMCA, AMS, PCAM. Over 30 chapter members leveled up their presentation skills and we hope to see them leading an educational program soon.

Would you like to present an education session at an upcoming CAI GLAC event?
The Programs & Expo Committee and the Education & Development Committee invite you to submit presentation proposals. We welcome all ideas related to the HOA industry and community management, including but not limited to:
- Technology and AI in Community Management
- Finance and Reserves, Use of Reserve Funds
- Capital Expenditures
- Asbestos Contamination
- Vendor Tech
- Insurance
- Seismic Retrofit
Deadline is March 29 extended to April 5 to be considered for:
