Education Program Request for Proposals

If you would like to be a speaker for an educational program at the Annual Community Expo or at one of the several Mini Expo & Luncheons held throughout the year, please submit a proposal.

Program Requirements:

  • All educational programs are approximately 45 minutes in length.
  • Content Development – The Programs Committee will provide guidance and set overall expectations, but content creation is the speaker's responsibility. The committee is available to offer support as needed.
  • Commitment and Engagement – Speakers should be prepared to dedicate sufficient time to rehearsals, focus on making the event enjoyable and engaging, and demonstrate responsiveness and punctuality.
  • PowerPoint Development – If speakers are unable to create their own presentation slides, please inform the Committee early. The committee or committee chairs can assist with this task if necessary.

2025 Event Dates:

  • January 22 Mini Expo & Luncheon at the Skirball Cultural Center (Program already chosen.)
  • February 26 Mini Expo & Breakfast in Valencia
  • March 26 Mini Expo & Luncheon in Torrance
  • May 28 Mini Expo & Luncheon at the Skirball Cultural Center
  • October 29 Mini Expo & Luncheon at the Skirball Cultural Center
  • September 12 Annual Community Expo (location TBD)
  • November 12 Mini Expo & Luncheon in Downtown LA
